What's involved?

Brainstorm & Storyboarding
We always start with strategy! A 1 hour Zoom call ahead of our session to plan and brainstorm some ideas. Then you can go off and flesh them out using my storyboard template to help you get the most out of our time together.

Shoot
Your phone + my mics, lights and expertise. With me on the tools shooting & directing we'll bring your ideas to life. I can also take still photos as well, so you're fully covered when it comes to content.

Editing
Your video ideas might not need much (if any) editing at all. But if they do I have a tutorial so you can easily DIY yourself afterwards. If you want we can sit and edit together, but it will mean we get less content shot.

I also love teaching, so after 16 years of working in television and video production (and 8 years of running my own business) I’m here to share all the tips, tricks and insider info with you!

I can come to you (within the Auckland region) and we can shoot amongst your own things. If that's not suitable you're welcome to come to my home office - I have lots of different spaces around the house we can shoot in.
We'll have a 1 hour Zoom session before the day to do some brainstorming and make a plan so we can make as much content as possible in our time together. There is a bit of pre-work you'll need to do after this turning the ideas into basic storyboards. The more organised you are the more we'll get done!
How does both sound? Using your camera I'll capture all your content so you'll head home with it all at your fingertips.
If you arrive ready to go, having done the pre-work, and are really focused it's entirely possible to make 10-20 short videos and the same amount of photographs. Scripted videos of you talking to camera may take a little longer, in that case you might make 5-10. If you want to do some editing on the day as well that will be a little less. It really depends on what kind of content you're after - I'll be able to give you an estimate of what we can get done in our Zoom session.
Depending on what sort of videos you make they might not need much editing. If they do we can spend some of our time editing on your computer or phone. If you want to maximise your time shooting you can finish them off yourself later. I provide you with an editing tutorial to help.
No problem at all, I'm there to shoot everything for you on your phone. If you want to continue to do this yourself on-going I suggest checking out my Video Made Easy course.
There are always things we can shoot!! I've been making content for businesses for 8 years now so you're in good hands. We'll brainstorm together in our Zoom meeting - don't worry I always have loads of ideas.
